How much difference is there in creating content for candidates vs clients?

When creating content for candidates (especially for internal) it’s usually a lot more fun and relaxed. Instagram is our main focus for attracting candidates, I like to emphasise how great it is to work here and the amazing team spirit we have here at Lennon Wright!

When I plan content for clients, it’s a lot more professional – we like to reach out to professionals within the tech industry to give us an insight into their career and knowledge (otherwise known as our Expert Interview Programme).

 

How do you balance the need to appeal to future Lennon Wright-ers and still engage clients/candidates? Or do you find that just promoting Lennon Wright as a whole works for your entire audience?

I think it’s important to have different strategies to appeal to different audiences. Both candidates and clients would have different interests, for example – clients are already established in their careers and looking to expand their business whereas candidates are looking to make their next career move.

 

What impact has social media has on the business?

I think social media gives any start-up business a real chance to be successful. I think my job is vital in order to push Lennon Wright forward as a brand and in front of the right audience.

I think social media has had a tremendous impact on Lennon Wright as a company! We have now got a solid social media plan in place and we are constantly working to improve and learn new things.

 

What is it like working with the great John Lennon?

I think John Lennon has a great work-life balance – he is a great, motivational manager but is also a great person to speak to about any problems you are facing which is something that’s important to me. I think John should be proud of Lennon Wright and how far it has grown in the past 4/5 years!

 

What’s the most valuable thing you’ve learned in the past 4 months?

Since joining in March, I have been lucky enough to fall into a job I absolutely love and wouldn’t change it for the world! I have learned so much already and it’s only been 4 months which is crazy. Coming from a creative background, I had some knowledge on managing social media accounts but didn’t know the ins and outs. Lennon Wright have given me the opportunity to dive straight in and learn about all these great apps and programmes – Hootsuite and Canva have been a life saver!

I have also started to learn SEO which is something completely new to me, I’m grateful to get the chance to learn something so important to businesses today!

 

What would you tell a younger Sophie given the chance?

I would tell myself to trust the process as everything does in fact happen for a reason and hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.
